Share a server without sharing your password

Invite collaborators and review application access.

Eligible servers provide a Permissions tool for granular access. A shared user is not the server owner.

Step by step

Open Permissions and find the other account by username or user ID.
Select only the rights required for the task and send the invitation.
The recipient accepts or declines through their notification.
Review existing users and authorized applications regularly. Adjust or remove rights when needed.

Check the result

Shared servers are marked in the recipient account. The recipient can also remove their own access.

Important

CAPTCHA-required renewal or configuration remains owner-only. File access can expose secrets stored by plugins, so grant it carefully.
