MarvinMC Plugins and mods are not interchangeable. The extension browser is shown only for compatible server software. For Rust, enable uMod/Oxide or Carbon under Versions first.
Step by step
- Back up the server and check the extension platform, game version and dependencies.
- Open the plugin/mod browser, search for the project and choose a compatible release.
- Alternatively, upload Minecraft plugin JARs to /server/plugins, server-side Minecraft mods to /server/mods, or Rust plugins to the Oxide or Carbon plugin folder.
- Remove duplicate old versions. Restart Minecraft extensions; uMod/Oxide and Carbon load valid .cs plugins automatically.
- Check the console for missing dependencies, compilation errors or incompatible releases.
Check the result
Paper plugins, Fabric mods and Forge mods target different loaders. Folia requires compatible extensions. Rust plugins require uMod/Oxide or Carbon and are not Minecraft JARs.
Important
Uploading while online does not hot-load an extension. Use a normal restart instead of assuming reload is safe. Only install code from trusted sources.
