FTP/MySQL shows the database host, port, username and individual database names. Use those exact values in your application.
Step by step
- Open FTP/MySQL and copy the credentials into your plugin or database client.
- Select the correct database name rather than assuming it matches the username.
- Where available, order an additional database or increase its capacity on the dedicated ordering page.
- Review usage separately for each database.
- Regenerate the password if it has been exposed, then update every application using that account.
Check the result
Additional databases use the server database account but have separate names and quotas. External clients can use the displayed endpoint.
Important
Password changes close old sessions. Export databases separately before destructive server actions; file backups do not automatically contain SQL data. Do not disable certificate verification to hide a connection problem.
