Backups have their own storage allowance. Generated archives use a date-based name, such as YYYY-MM-DD_HH-mm-ss.tar.gz.
Step by step
- Open Backups and check available backup space.
- Choose Create backup and confirm the required server stop when prompted. Wait for the completion notification.
- Download important archives to another device.
- To restore, select the intended archive, review the replacement warning and confirm the stop/restoration.
- After completion, start the server if necessary and check its world and settings.
Check the result
A backup should appear in the list with a size and date. Merely starting a backup job does not mean the archive is ready.
Important
Restoration replaces current runtime data. Separate MySQL databases are not automatically included in a server file archive; export those separately.
