Schedule backups, restarts and commands

Create recurring jobs and review their results.

Automatic backups, restarts and commands have separate Pro Tools pages.

Step by step

Open the page for the action you want to schedule.
Set its time and other available options; check the timezone shown by the tool.
For commands, test the command in the console before scheduling it.
Save and enable the schedule. Disable or delete it when no longer needed.

Check the result

Inspect Events and notifications after the first scheduled run. Check available backup space before scheduling repeated backups.

Important

Plan disruptive jobs outside busy periods. A schedule cannot make an expired server active or bypass storage and permission checks.
